Show Me Food and Drink Tweets On Twitter All Over Kim Kardashian Any Day

I have to talk about a very important dilemma…one which is discussed regularly on the web and with a great deal of controversy. This impacts everybody who partcipates in social websites on the web and has significant ramifications (Ramifications! Wow!)…

Updating your own Facebook Wall and Twitter stream of what you're currently eating.

So there. I spilled it.

I know lots of you reading this right now have to be saying ‘Darn…Kenny really did it! He really brought it out in the open!’ It needed to be said….and it must be answered.

I’ll get directly to the point. I support and advise everybody on Social Media to on a regular basis Facebook and Tweet what you are eating and drinking…just about at all times.

We currently notice a whole lot of proof of this online. Allow me to show you the key reason why it's so necessary.

We all eat more than once a day. Many eat as much as 5-6 times a day. A few even 10-20! (damn you go…but save some for all of us ok??) Which means that it is definitely something that everybody does a ton of. We additionally up-date our Wall on Facebook and Tweet frequently too. A few more than others I realize and some update a great deal more than they eat.

For that reason doesn’t it seem sensible to mix both?

Ever since the beginning of time we have bragged by what we ate for dinner the evening before at work the following day. Wow, I ate some amazing Tortellini last night and some outrageous buttery garlic bread!” With Social Media now we are now more ‘immediate’ regarding it.

Real time. Real eating.

Actually, once you consider it, I think that’s precisely what Social Media was devised for. Because it certainly isn't any good for internet marketing! *wink*

I don’t know about any of you, but now I’m at the point where I check out my Facebook and twitter for what people are eating and also what fabulous drinks they’re enjoying. I’m done with the Twitter updates on Forex, ramblings of Confucius and how much Kim Kardashian loves all of us and her high heel shoes.

Speaking of Miss Kardashian (she’s not hitched right? I can’t keep up to date), I think she has to step-up her #tweetingwhatsheseating. I KNOW she eats! Right??

NOTE: We ought to rename Twitter 'Kim Kardashian On Twitter'. I presume all two hundred Gazillion people follow her.

But I digress (been looking to make use of that line for a long time…)

Give me a roast beef and swiss with a Newcastle Brown Ale Tweet any day…and preferably with a picture.

Which brings me to my next point: Pics with the updates are a must! You want to look at what everyone is enjoying, right? That should be 50% of one's updates when possible.

Now to the detractors, or what I term the ‘online food downers’. (I haven’t thought of a more suitable catchphrase than that so suggestions are welcome in the comments below!)

We all know who they are. These people whine on-line regularly regarding the…well…updates on food.

‘If I read one more Tweet of what you ate for dinner I’m deleting you blah blah…’

Is that so? So you’re so offended by my lunch Tweet you must delete me? So inconvenienced that I’ve clogged up your stream (yuk!) that you’ll miss that important update on the latest Twitter spamming program?

Well get yourself a frickin’ life Mr. ‘You will make 197 grand on Twitter beginning tonight’ because everybody knows you’re pounding down a Big Mac and washing it down with a 44 ounce Coke using the $8.54 you actually made!

So there it is. Just like the title says, I make absolutely no apologies for my #tweetingwhatimeating and I also intend to even step it up several notches, and on my personal blog.

And it’s time that 1…everyone admit that we like to eat more than we’ll actually fess up to and want absolutely everyone to see it frequently and 2…acknowledge that this is the Real reason Social Media was created.
