A Miracle for Christmas $4.99 A Christmas courtship Damian McAllister didn’t do Christmas. No presents, no carols, no mistletoe kisses. Christmas was just another day. Without the family he’d lost, what else could it be? It would take a miracle for him to fall in love again. Stephanie Redmond believed in happy-ever-afters—and miracles. It must have been fate that stranded her on Damian’s doorstep one snowy Christmas Eve—with a sack of presents in her arms! Soft toys, cute fluffy animals…but no gift-wrapped miracles for Damian. Buying Underfloor Heating As A Christmas Present Discussed In Very Basic Terms
Christmas is now just a few weeks away and I would like to wish all of the readers of this article an early Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you are all starting to get ready for Christmas, I have already made a start - I like to get everything organised in plenty of time. So what have you bought your loved ones? In this article I will be writing about the top quality present that I have bought for my loving wife.
So what have I bought her? I can hear some of you ask. Well I have actually organised for a local company to install underfloor heating into two of the rooms of our house - they will be doing this in the first week of January as I wanted this to be a surprise - if they had installed this type of flooring prior to Christmas it would have somewhat ruined the surprise lol. My wife has been eager to have this underfloor heating for at least the last few years but I have been saying that I was not interested and that we can not afford it. I can not wait to see her face when she opens up her Christmas card which will have the receipt inside.
She is quite a hard person to buy for as she tends to purchase whatever she wants at the same time as she wants it. When I ask what she would like as a Christmas gift she just says something like "Anything - I will let you choose". This hardly is of help to a guy like me.
These underfloor heating systems are therefore something which I am quite proud of - thought process wise etc. In fact it could be the best present that I have ever bought her.

11 Days in December: Christmas at the Bulge, 1944 $0.01 It was truly a white Christmas in the Ardennes Forest in 1944, but that was cold comfort to the Allied soldiers trying to stop the Nazis from retaking Belgium in one of the most decisive battles of World War II. While a German loudspeaker taunted, 'How would you like to die for Christmas'? the Allied forces dug in, despite freezing conditions. They needed a miracle. In a medieval chapel, General Patton, who needed clear skies to allow airborne reinforcements to reach his trapped men, uttered what would become a famous prayer: ?Sir, whose side are you on?? His soldiers wouldn't be home for Christmas, but as the skies cleared, they went on to win a battle? and a war. |
