Although LED lighting systems have been on the market for some time, this form of lighting has only recently come into the realm of Christmas lights. Part of the reason for the delay was that LED lights were not available in a wide range of colors like standard light strands could by simply changing the color of the glass shell. However, scientists have nowadays made multi-colored LED Christmas lights an opportunity, and the fashion is catching on by leaps and bounds as people are realizing the many benefits that this special type of lighting can produce.
