Present Burdened Individuals Wit Via Funny Christmas Cards
Christmas often is a stressful time. People have to run around town fighting traffic and crowds while hunting down Christmas gifts for people on their list. They are spending lots of money. Time, already a precious commodity, gets even tighter during the holiday season. All that stress, though, can be relieved when they receive funny Christmas cards in the mail.
Hopefully, one of those cards will be a Christmas card that YOU sent!
That your sense of humor might not be universal is an important consideration when selecting which, or even if a funny card should be sent. Think of the other person and their sense of humor before electing to send a humorous card for Christmas. If you think you understand their sense of humor (or know them well enough they will forgive you if you botch it) then, by all means, start hunting for some funny cards.
There are several types of funny holiday cards. Common topics of such cards include:

- Santa
- Kids
It’s not uncommon in cards featuring Santa that he is the brunt of some joke. Scenes where Santa Claus is paying the price for going too fast are not uncommon. Another reoccurring theme arises when cards picture a slightly selfish Santa who hopes to retain ownership of special presents. The portly man’s stomach, too, is a target of many jabs from Ms. Claus.
Kid humor is always great. Unreasonable requests of Santa in letters written by children are great fodder for inclusion in Christmas cards. Santa, drinking a glass of milk, could have a shocked look on his face as he reads a note that says, “Dear Santa, If you put a bike under the Christmas tree I’ll give you the anecdote for the poison I put in the milk. The best of all possible children, Timmy.”
Potential cards to animal lovers might include dressing and photographing your animal as if it were Santa, a present, or even as a reindeer.
If you really know the person you’re sending the card to well, you could include humorous words attributed to public figures such as Barbara Streisand or Kobe Bryant.
Whether you choose to create your own card or buy funny Christmas cards from the store, such a card can brighten someone’s stressful holiday season.
