The Holiday Season is Eventful and Filled with Cheer within Kalamazoo
Downtown Kalamazoo is a lot of fun and extremely festive during the Christmas season. It all begins in November with the annual Holiday Parade. Families and good friends assemble in downtown on a Saturday morning to enjoy floats, balloons and hear live music. At this time the massive Santa Claus is setup outside of the Radisson Hotel and the walking mall is embellished with Christmas lights and city banners. This kick off for the holidays genuinely creates cheer and good spirits.
The Thanksgiving holiday follows this parade and after that the biggest shopping day of the entire year, Black Friday. Downtown is ideal for shopping around. Not only is it embellished with holiday cheer and shopping center banners advertising bargains, but you will discover an array of specialty stores.
