Send Burdened Individuals a Laugh With Funny Christmas Greetings
Christmas often is a stressful time. People have to run around town fighting traffic and crowds while hunting down Christmas gifts for people on their list. Spending sums of money can be challenging. Insert extra time for shopping, and already busy schedules become more and more hectic. All that stress, though, can be relieved when they receive funny Christmas cards in the mail.

One of the important things to note about sending funny cards is that not everyone on your list will have the same sense of humor as you. Think of the other person and their sense of humor before electing to send a humorous card for Christmas. If you think you understand their sense of humor (or know them well enough they will forgive you if you botch it) then, by all means, start hunting for some funny cards.
Humorous holiday cards arrive in many sizes and shapes. They usually revolve around the following themes:

- Kids
- Animals
Cards featuring Santa often depict him as some kind of culprit. For instance, many Christmas cards show Santa being handed a ticket for speeding. Another reoccurring theme arises when cards picture a slightly selfish Santa who hopes to retain ownership of special presents. The portly man’s stomach, too, is a target of many jabs from Ms. Claus.
Kid humor is always great. You’ll often find funny quotes or bits of letters kids have written to Santa asking for something unreasonable. Santa, drinking a glass of milk, could have a shocked look on his face as he reads a note that says, “Dear Santa, If you put a bike under the Christmas tree I’ll give you the anecdote for the poison I put in the milk. The best of all possible children, Timmy.”
If the person on your list loves animals, you can make them laugh by dressing up your animal as Santa, putting a bow on the animal as if it were a present, or decorate the creature as a reindeer.
If the card is being sent to an individual with a sense of humor and a strong liking for a public figure such as Barbara Streisand or Kobe Bryant, a characterized representation of that public person with a gentle jab of humor might be appropriate.
Whether you choose to create your own card or buy funny Christmas cards from the store, such a card can brighten someone’s stressful holiday season.
