Renting Seven Passenger Vehicles For A Teenager Tour
When my boss's female child, Emma, turned sixteen she wished to celebrate by having a day of sight-seeing in the town with 5 of her girlfriends. "The city" is San Francisco, which is just a few miles far from where my boss lives, and while there is the public transit alternative of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Emma desired her close friends to be able to sing songs and be energetic during the journey there.
Riding on BART would have required that they sit peacefully rather than disturb the other commuters. Additionally, finding six adjacent seats on the BART train isn't always possible. My boss asked me to check out if any local car rental companies carried 7 seater cars. I made a few calls and checked a few web sites and gave my boss the details she needed to make a comparison of 7 passenger vehicles available for the day of Emma's special birthday.
This would allow adequate room for Emma plus 5 of her buddies and my manager would be the driver. My boss made her decision and all the programs were set. The special occasion arrived and the weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Emma, her buddies, and her mum climbed into the mini-van and the party started. Well, in fact, there was more preparation for the party bus prior to they got on board.
My boss had ordered beautifully decorated cupcakes for the young girls to enjoy on the way over the Bay Bridge into the town. And, obviously, her buddies had come with their favourite Cd's to sing along with. As soon as they got into San Francisco, they went to Fisherman's Wharf, fed the sea lions on the pier, ate lunch at a proper restaurant looking out on the Golden Gate Bridge, and went window shopping at the Galleria.
And, like any day in San Francisco is guaranteed to provide, took in all the wonderful scenery and diversity. Some people might be intimated by driving through the roads of San Francisco, especially with a mini-van full of teenage girls, however my boss was comfortable driving around the town because she had stayed there when she was going to university.
When my boss came back to work the next morning, she had lots of photographs and tales to tell about the wonderful time the girls had on their day in the town, and it sounded as if it was a birthday that Emma would never forget for her entire life. I think this was the perfect way for a mother to give her daughter a birthday party on the go. If anyone asks me for a good idea for celebrating a girl's sixteenth birthday, I will definitely recommend that they look into the alternative of 7 seater vehicles. And let the party begin!
