The Popularity Of Personalised Birthday Cards
The days of the telegram are well and truly over. Gone are the days of the manual typewriter. And gone are the days of the bog standard off-the-shelf birthday card. I do not see the point these days of attempting to locate a suitable card in a high street shop when you personalise your own online.
Seriously – what is the point? Only last week I gave a personalised birthday card to a relative who had worked out his age wrong the year before and, as a result, was celebrating his 53rd birthday for the second year in a row. There is no way that I would have been able to find and off-the-shelf card that said “Happy 53rd Birthday, AGAIN”
