Renting 7 Seater Vehicles For A Birthday Tour

When my boss's daughter, Emma, turned 16 she desired to celebrate by having a day of sight-seeing in the town with five of her female friends. "The city" is San Francisco, that is only some miles far from where my boss lives, and while there's the public transit alternative of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Emma desired her friends to be able to sing songs and be energetic during the journey there.

Riding on BART would have needed that they sit calmly and not bother the other commuters. Also, finding 6 adjacent seats on the BART train isn't always possible. My boss asked me to find out if any local car rental companies carried 7 passenger vehicles. I made a couple of phone calls and checked a couple of web-sites and gave my boss the info she needed to make a comparison of 7 passenger vehicles available for the day of Emma's special birthday.

This would allow sufficient room for Emma plus five of her close friends and my boss would be the driver. My employer made her decision and all the programs were set. The special occasion arrived and the weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Emma, her close friends, and her mommy climbed into the mini-van and the party began. Well, in fact, there was more preparation for the party bus prior to they got on board.

My employer had bought beautifully decorated cupcakes for the girls to enjoy in route over the Bay Bridge into the town. And, obviously, her close friends had come with their favourite Cd's to sing along with. Once they got into San Francisco, they went to Fisherman's Wharf, fed the sea lions on the pier, had lunch at a restaurant watching out on the Golden Gate Bridge, and went window shopping at the Galleria.

And, like any day in San Francisco is guaranteed to provide, took in all the wonderful scenery and diversity. Few folks might be intimated by driving through the roads of San Francisco, particularly with a mini-van full of teenage girls, but my employer was comfy driving around the town because she had lived there when she was going to university or college.

When my employer came back to work the following day, she had plenty of pics and tales to tell about the good time the girls had on their day in the town, and it sounded as if it was a birthday that Emma would never forget for her whole life. I think this was the best way for a mother to give her daughter a birthday party on the go. If anybody asks me for a great idea for celebrating a girl's 16th birthday, I will certainly suggest that they look into the alternative of 7 seater vehicles. And let the party begin!

Excerpt: Jerome Kendrick "Jerry" Pate (born September 16, 1953) is an American golfer. Jerry Pate was born in Macon, Georgia. He later attended the University of Alabama and had a distinguished amateur career. He won the U.S. Amateur Championship in 1974 and the following year he was a member of victorious U.S. teams at the Walker Cup and the Eisenhower Trophy. He was also the low amateur at the 1975 U.S. Open. Pate turned professional in 1975 and was the medalist at the 1975 PGA Tour Qualifying School. He had a flying start to his professional career, winning the U.S. Open, which was to be his only major championship victory, and the Canadian Open. He was selected as the Rookie of the Year and Co-Player of the Year. Six more PGA Tour victories followed between 1977 and 1982, as well as several other titles around the world. In 1981 he was a member of a victorious United States Ryder Cup team. However shoulder injuries curtailed his career and he didn't win a regular (under 50) professional title after his thirtieth birthday. Pate later served as a broadcast analyst for ABC, CBS and the BBC and set up a golf course design practice and a turf and irrigation company. In 2006 he returned to winning ways at the Champions Tour's Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. He lives in Pensacola, Florida.
