Seven Passenger Vehicles For A Birthday Sightseeing Tour
When my boss's female child, Emma, turned sixteen she wished to celebrate by having a day of sightseeing in the city with 5 of her girl friends. "The city" is San Francisco, which is only some miles away from where my boss resides, and while there is the public transit alternative of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Emma desired her close friends to be able to sing songs and be boisterous at the time of the journey there.
Riding on BART would have needed that they sit calmly and not bother the other commuters. Also, finding six adjacent seats on the BART train isn't always feasible. My boss asked me to check out if any local car rental agencies carried 7 passenger vehicles. I made some calls and checked some web-sites and gave my boss the information she required to make an evaluation of 7 passenger vehicles available for the day of Emma's special birthday.
This would allow sufficient room for Emma plus 5 of her mates and my boss would be the driver. My employer made her decision and all the plans were set. The special occasion came and the weather was excellent, sunny and warm. Emma, her mates, and her mommy climbed into the mini-van and the party started. Well, in fact, there was more pre-planning for the party bus prior to they got on board.
My employer had bought beautifully decorated cupcakes for the girls to enjoy in route over the Bay Bridge into the city. And, obviously, her mates had come with their favorite Cd's to sing along with. As soon as they got into San Francisco, they visited Fisherman's Wharf, fed the sea lions on the pier, had lunch at a restaurant watching out on the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as went window shopping at the Galleria.
And, like any day in San Francisco is guaranteed to offer, took in all the awesome scenery as well as diversity. Few people might be intimated by driving through the streets of San Francisco, especially with a mini-van full of teenage girls, however my employer was comfy driving around the city because she had lived there when she was going to college or university.
When my boss came back to work the next morning, she had loads of photos and stories to tell about the good time the girls had on their day in the city, and it sounded like it was a birthday that Emma would never forget for her entire life. I believe this was the best way for a mother to give her daughter a birthday party on the go. If anybody asks me for a great idea for celebrating a girl's sixteenth birthday, I'll definitely suggest that they look into the alternative of 7 seater vehicles. And let the party begin!
