Renting Seven Seater Passenger Cars For A Birthday Tour
When my boss's daughter, Emma, turned sixteen she wanted to celebrate by having a day of sightseeing in the city with five of her girl friends. "The city" is San Francisco, that is just a few miles off from where my boss lives, and while there is the public transit option of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Emma desired her good friends to be able to sing songs and be energetic during the trip there.
Riding on BART would have needed that they sit calmly and not disturb the other commuters. Also, finding 6 adjacent seats on the BART train isn't usually feasible. My boss asked me to check out if any local car rental agencies carried 7 passenger vehicles. I made a few phone calls and checked a few sites and gave my boss the info she required to make an evaluation of 7 passenger vehicles accessible for the day of Emma's birthday.
This would allow adequate room for Emma plus five of her good friends and my manager would be the driver. My employer made her decision and all the plans were set. The special day arrived and the climate was ideal, sunny and warm. Emma, her good friends, and her mum climbed into the mini-van and the party began. Well, in fact, there was more preparation for the party bus prior to they got on board.
My employer had purchased wonderfully decorated cupcakes for the girls to enjoy on the way over the Bay Bridge into the city. And, obviously, her good friends had come with their favourite Cd's to sing along with. Once they got into San Francisco, they went to Fisherman's Wharf, fed the sea lions on the pier, ate lunch at a proper restaurant looking out on the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as went window shopping at the Galleria.
And, like any day in San Francisco is guaranteed to offer, took in all the awesome scenery as well as diversity. Some people might be intimated by driving through the streets of San Francisco, especially with a mini-van full of teenage girls, however my employer was comfy driving around the city because she had lived there when she was going to college.
When my boss came back to work the next morning, she had lots of photographs and stories to tell about the good time the girls had on their day in the city, and it sounded like it was a birthday that Emma would always remember for her entire life. I think this was the perfect way for a mother to give her daughter a birthday party on the go. If anyone asks me for a great idea for celebrating a girl's sixteenth birthday, I'll certainly recommend that they look into the option of 7 seater vehicles. And let the party begin!
