Paper Banners vs. Vinyl Banners
A birthday banner can be made of vinyl. The fact that vinyl is made of water-resistant PVC makes this an ideal material for outdoor gatherings. But you have to hire a professional to print it because printing on vinyl needs specific equipment.
You can opt for a paper banner if you want, but paper can be so frail. Discoloration and blotting of the ink is common for paper banners. If the room is too humid, the paper may also wilt. You most probably will not be able to keep a paper banner for the sake of memories. Your birthday memorabilia should last a lifetime if you want to preserve the memories. This particularly applies for debutant parties and sweet sixteens.
Designing Your Banner
Decide on a design before ordering your banner. However, it is still recommended that you consult a professional graphic artist to make sure that all the colors in your design will translate well on the vinyl.
