7 Passenger Cars For A Teenager Sightseeing Tour
When my boss's female child, Emma, turned 16 she wished to celebrate by having a day of sightseeing in the city with five of her female friends. "The city" is San Francisco, that is only some miles off from where my boss lives, and while there's the public transit alternative of Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Emma wanted her good friends to be able to sing songs and be energetic at the time of the journey there.
Riding on BART would have needed that they sit silently and not bother the other commuters. Additionally, finding 6 adjacent seats on the BART train isn't always possible. My boss asked me to find out if any local car rental agencies carried 7 seater cars. I made some calls and checked some online sites and gave my boss the details she needed to make an evaluation of 7 passenger vehicles available for the day of Emma's special birthday.
This would allow sufficient room for Emma plus five of her close friends and my manager would be the driver. My boss made her decision and all the plans were set. The special occasion came and the climate was perfect, sunny and warm. Emma, her close friends, and her mommy climbed into the mini-van and the party began. Well, actually, there was more pre-planning for the party bus before they got on board.
My boss had purchased wonderfully decorated cupcakes for the young girls to enjoy in route over the Bay Bridge into the city. And, of course, her close friends had come with their favorite Cd's to sing along with. As soon as they got into San Francisco, they went to Fisherman's Wharf, fed the sea lions on the pier, had lunch at a restaurant watching out on the Golden Gate Bridge, and went window shopping at the Galleria.
And, like any day in San Francisco is guaranteed to provide, took in all the wonderful scenery and diversity. Few folks might be intimated by driving through the roads of San Francisco, particularly with a mini-van full of teenage girls, but my boss was comfy driving around the city because she had stayed there when she was going to college.
When my boss came back to work the next morning, she had loads of pics and tales to tell about the great time the girls had on their day in the city, and it sounded like it was a birthday that Emma would always remember for her entire life. I think this was the best way for a mother to give her daughter a birthday party on the go. If anybody asks me for a good idea for celebrating a girl's sixteenth birthday, I'll certainly advise that they look into the alternative of 7 seater vehicles. And let the party begin!
