How To mMake Your Own Anniversary Card
You have to admit that reaching a 50th wedding anniversary milestone is a feat that the majority of people don't ever achieve. Most people don't even survive the first few years of marriage without getting divorced. Therefore, you should definitely celebrate the 50-year mark with a huge celebration. Hopefully, the couple will feel young again after attending this light-hearted party. A great way to celebrate the occasion is to make your own unique card.
One of the nicest ways to obtain a beautiful card worthy of this type of a celebration is to make one yourself. You should try making one if you've never made one before. There are many different methods you can make a card with. Buying some cardstock is all you need to get started.
You should consider making one that has a picture of the couple in their younger days on it. One option is to use a nice, cursive font with the words "Remember when". You should glue the words and the picture on the front of the piece of cardstock. You could use a current photo to put in the inside of the card. You could also write the names of the couple's kids and grandkids around the edge of the photo.
I'm sure there are plenty of homemade cards with pictures on them that you can find on the internet. Finding them will give you plenty of ideas for making cards on your own. A card doesn't have to be complicated to be effective, so you can make one even if you aren't that creative. For instance, you could try gluing a ruffled paper heart right on the front of folded cardstock. Then, you could simply add a bow to the inside of the heart. To finish the front of this card, all you'll need to do is add a lovely picture you've cut from a magazine or super ornate lettering spelling out “50 Years".
