Hopefully, the couple will feel young again after attending this light-hearted party. Making your own unique card is a great way to celebrate the occasion.
One of the nicest ways to obtain a beautiful card worthy of this type of a celebration is to make one yourself. You should try making one if you've never made one before. It's a nice hobby to get started with, and there are so many different approaches you can take to any card you decide to make. All you have to do to get started is to buy some cardstock.
An easy yet thoughtful card to make starts with a copy of a picture of the couple in the early days of their marriage. Using a flowing, cursive font, type “Remember when"You could use a beautiful font with "Remember when". You should glue the words and the picture on the front of the piece of cardstock. The interior of the card could consist of a current photo. All around the outside edge of the photo your can write the names of the couple's kids and grandkids.
Pictures of homemade cards that others have made abound on the Internet. These will give you lots of ideas for making a card of your own. Don't think that you can only make your own cards if you have major talent, because a card doesn't have to be complicated to be effective. For instance, you could try gluing a ruffled paper heart right on the front of folded cardstock. You could then go on to add a pretty bow to the inside of the heart. You could then put a nice picture from a magazine or ornate lettering that spells out "50 years".
