The 50th wedding anniversary is an occasion that most people are never fortunate enough to celebrate. As evidenced by the high divorce rate, most people don't stay married more than a few years. With this in mind, reaching the 50-year mark is something huge to celebrate. Hopefully, the couple will feel young again after attending this light-hearted party. A great way to celebrate the occasion is to make your own unique card.
Making it yourself is one of the best ways to get a beautiful card. You should try making one if you've never made one before. It's a nice hobby to get started with, and there are so many different approaches you can take to any card you decide to make. You simply need to get your hands on some cardstock in order to get started.
You should consider making one that has a picture of the couple in their younger days on it. Using a flowing, cursive font, type “Remember when"You could use a beautiful font with "Remember when". You should glue the words and the picture on the front of the piece of cardstock. For the inside, use a current photo of a special moment. All around the outside edge of the photo your can write the names of the couple's kids and grandkids.
I'm sure there are plenty of homemade cards with pictures on them that you can find on the internet. Finding them will give you plenty of ideas for making cards on your own. A card doesn't have to be complicated to be effective, so you can make one even if you aren't that creative. You could put a ruffled paper heart right in the middle of folded cardstock. You could then go on to add a pretty bow to the inside of the heart. To finish thing, you simply need to put a lovely picture from a magazine or ornate lettering that says "50 years".
Simply visit a local scrapbooking store to find embellishments that you can use. You can choose from all kinds of cute little sets of pictures and words that will allow you to make instant cards.
